Your first visit to the practice will be longer than a usual check-up. At this visit we will take a full medical and dental history, ask you about your expectations and discover if there is any aspect to your dental health or smile which concerns you. This will be followed by a comprehensive dental examination, checks of your teeth, gums, jaw joints and also your soft tissues and tongue for abnormalities.

To aid diagnoses we will take some x-rays. Following this consultation we will be able to provide you with a personalised treatment plan and estimate of cost. For complex cases further appointments may be necessary before a treatment plan is formulated.
