Your appointment
Your first visit to the practice will be longer than a usual checkup.
At this visit we will take a full medical and dental history,
ask you about your expectations and discover if there is any
aspect of your dental health or smile which concerns you. This
will be followed by a comprehensive dental examination,
checks of your teeth, gums, jaw joints and also your soft tissues
and tongue for abnormalities. To aid diagnosis we will take
some X-rays. Following this consultation we will be able to
provide you with a personalised treatment plan and estimate
of cost. For complex cases further appointments may be
necessary before a treatment plan is formulated

We like to see you…
Regularly!
We believe that prevention is better than cure and
central to this philosophy are regular examinations at the
practice. We can advise you on how often you should visit us
for routine checkups based on your own dental health. This
checkup will ensure your long term oral health so that you can
enjoy your smile for years to come.
Appointments policy
We always try to see our patients at the appointed time. If you
are kept waiting there is normally a good reason and your
patience is always appreciated. If you need to cancel an
appointment we require 24 hours notice to enable us to make
alternative arrangements, perhaps to see somebody who is in
pain. There will be a charge for short notice cancellations or
missed appointments. |
